BIOGRAPHY

Steve Laureti, dubbed "The New York Pianist," is an upscale entertainer known for his jazzy piano riffs and ability to engage a crowd.  Laureti has established himself in the music business, starting with Central New York.  Originally from Oneida, New York, he is a graduate of Le Moyne College and Syracuse University.

Steve now performs around 100 shows a year for high-end corporate clients throughout the East Coast.  He has opened for national act Gym Class Heroes, performed for Tiger Woods, IBM, The Master's Golf Tournament, US Open Tennis, PGA Tour, black tie events from NYC (Central Park & Times Square) to Florida, and regularly at Turning Stone Resort*Casino.

Steve was born into music with a family full of musicians.  He performs his Dueling Piano Show throughout the East Coast with his cousin David Ross, a Las Vegas musician.

His grandfather, Greg Ross, also a very gifted and soulful performer often compared to Frank Sinatra, influenced Steve to start taking piano lessons at the age of 5, but Steve always had a piano sitting in front of him as early as age 2.

Throughout the years, Steve took lessons from one of New York’s finest instructors and jazz musicians, Rick Montalbano.  During that time, he developed his own style, and learned to incorporate colorful jazz voicings into well-known pop music.

With a love for the standards, Steve performs music ranging from Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, and Elton John, to modern day musicians like Maroon 5 and Justin Timberlake.
